The Before & After School program is available to Bingham Elementary and Pittman Elementary students. Your child will enjoy a plethora of activities including physical education, academic and entertaining activities. Boredom isn’t an option!
Looking for a boost in the grade card? No worries! Take advantage of our tutoring services. Your child can enjoy one-on-one assistance from our knowledgeable and trained staff. All of these fun activities are structured and made available in our facility which includes a full-sized gymnasium, multiple classrooms and computer center We take the worry out of the planning too. We provide free transportation to and from school, along with healthy snacks to make sure stomachs are full! Need assistance? Along with tutoring services we also provide scholarships that can cover up to ½ of the price of tuition. State childcare assistance is also accepted. |

History of the Before & After School Program
East Grand Church of Christ has always been a community focused family and in 1999 a ministry outreach program was established to reach the needs of Bingham Elementary School.
Bingham is located just a few steps away from East Grand. As a Title 1 school, Bingham has limited means to support special needs, including one-on-one help, before and afterschool programming and social development activities. East Grand felt this was a perfect opportunity to provide needed support within the community.
The growing program has positively impacted hundreds of children and families within the Bingham community and has provided Church members with volunteer opportunities to give back to the community.
During this time it was obvious there was a need for before and after school care and support for Bingham students. As a result, the Before & After School Program was created and began offering services in the fall of 2001.
In order to expand the opportunities to bring support to this community, East Grand Community Services (EGCS) was established as a separate entity to continue the work the church began. The East Grand Community Services Board was established in January of 2004. This Board now governs the policies and procedures of the East Grand Community Services, as well as serves as a leadership body to promote growth and further excellence in the program.
